Kevin Danso just proved what Johan Lange said about him to be spot on during Tottenham’s 4-1 win vs Ipswich..
Johan Lange’s words on Kevin Danso are proving to be spot on as he continued his impressive start to life in a Tottenham Hotspur shirt against Ipswich Town.

Danso starred in Tottenham Hotspur’s 4-1 win away at Ipswich as the defender produced a display which had the away end singing his name after the match.

The Austrian’s arrival from Lens has been crucial with Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Ben Davies and Radu Dragusin all sidelined at the same time.
Romero and Van de Ven’s absence from the team has been a major blow for Postecoglou, however, Danso’s display against Ipswich proved exactly why he was signed for £21 million.

Kevin Danso is proving Johan Lange was spot on about why Tottenham signed him
Kevin Danso is quickly showing why he is the perfect fit for Ange Postecoglou’s team given his superb quality on the ball.
Postecoglou sang Danso’s praises after the win agreeing that he had been a ‘super addition’ to his side even after four matches.

During his review of the transfer window, Johan Lange claimed Danso was a “good stylistic fit” for Tottenham and right now, Spurs’ sporting director looks to be spot on.
Lange said: “Kevin, of course, as you say, is a very good stylistic fit but also he comes in with a lot of experience, both in the Bundesliga and in the Ligue 1 in France, as well as from the Austrian national team.”

Kevin Danso dominates Tottenham’s defence vs Ipswich
The 26-year-old was heavily involved against the Tractor Boys on Saturday as he managed 106 touches and completed 84 passes whilst winning six of his nine duels.
His defensive game has looked solid but it’s his ability to carry the ball and progress it forward which has made him such an important addition.
Dragusin’s ball-playing ability caused Spurs many worries and has been an issue when the team has looked to build out from the back.

But with their newest defensive addition, he looks so composed when in possession and can start attacks.
There was a moment in the second half in which the Austrian international produced a wonderful Cruyff turn under pressure on the edge of the box before driving the ball into the attacking third.
For just £21 million, Danso is quickly proving to be an astute buy for Tottenham.
