The wheels keep turning for Wrexham, with another game just around the corner already, and we’ve had a go at a predicted XI for the clash with Huddersfield Town.
Wrexham recorded a 0-0 draw against Bolton Wanderers this weekend at the Racecourse Ground, with a number of spurned chances costing the Red Dragons on the day.
Phil Parkinson’s men will be disappointed with dropping two points, but the result did offer a promotion hope for Wrexham in light of Wycombe Wanderers’ defeat to Birmingham City.
Wrexham are now just two points behind Mike Dodds’ side going into Tuesday’s game against Huddersfield. But, Parkinson will need to see something different, something more incisive, if the Red Dragons are to win this one.

The big injury news at Wrexham right now, of course, is the long-term absence of Andy Cannon. The midfielder suffered an ACL injury during the win over Mansfield Town last weekend and will miss the rest of the season.
As has been the case for months now, Callum Burton, Luke Bolton, and Will Boyle will all be missing, too.
The Wrexham squad has a clean bill of health aside from these issues, though, and Parkinson will need to dig deep into his immense strength in depth to get the best out of the team on Tuesday.
Three changes for Wrexham predicted XI vs Huddersfield Town
The Wrexham manager has been tinkering with his lineup a lot less lately, as he appears to have really settled on his best options in a lot of positions.
Defensively, there is no reason for Parkinson to change anything. Arthur Okonkwo was praised after the Bolton draw, and will retain his place between the sticks.
In front of him, the trio of Max Cleworth, Eoghan O’Connell, and Tom O’Connor will very likely keep their places. There is a chance Lewis Brunt could be introduced in the event of any fatigue, but we’d be surprised to see any change.
Key changes will occur on the wings, though. Ryan Longman impressed versus Bolton, but we suspect Parkinson will try something different and rotate him with Ryan Barnett coming in on the right. Meanwhile, Seb Revan will finally make way for skipper James McClean, after a brief run in the team.
The midfield three of George Dobson, Matty James, and Ollie Rathbone should remain untouched, although Elliot Lee could be brought in for James if he is deemed fit enough to start.
Meanwhile, something has got to give in attack as the partnership of Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez continues to flounder. Smith will keep his place, but we expect Jack Marriott to replace the latter as Parkinson tries to find a winning formula up top.
