Everton in pole position to sign Tom Fellows amid £20m West Brom exit news

Everton have booted up an excellent run of form under David Moyes that even the majority of their supporters did not see coming.

The Toffees’ hard-fought 2-1 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday evening (15 February) was reminiscent of the revived campaign they have so far been enjoying.

Moyes has been frustrated with PSR constraints preventing the ability to get more reinforcements through the door at Goodison Park, despite sole winter signing Carlos Alcaraz displaying the heroics to win the game for his side in South London over the weekend.

Everton stepping up pursuit of star
Everton are looking to step up their search for talented recruits in the summer and are preparing a renewed bid for West Bromwich Albion’s Tom Fellows, according to Darren Witcoop.

As reported on page 69 of the Sunday Mirror (16 February), Fellows is keen on a switch to Merseyside and Moyes is equally eager to strengthen his side with the England Under-21 winger, of whom he is a “big fan”.

Fellows has been in inspired form for the majority of this season and was the first Championship player to reach double figures in assists in 2024-25.

Albion rate the wide man at £20million, following Everton interest for a lower sum in January which was quickly rebuffed.

Moyes is keen to give a new Championship star an opportunity to flourish in the Premier League, having previously signed Jarrod Bowen for ex-club West Ham United from Hull City in 2020.
