Projected Lines Defensive Pairings For Bruins-Penguins Matchup…
The Bruins turn the page to a new month and hope to get back on track.
Boston enters Saturday’s matchup against the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena on a five-game losing streak. B’s leadership remained optimistic that the wins and points would come as they chased the playoffs.

General manager Don Sweeney on Friday injected youth into the lineup with a series of roster moves. Jeffrey Viel is projected to play after his Providence call-up alongside Matt Poitras, who practiced Friday following an awkward hit in the loss to the New York Islanders.
Forward Georgii Merkulov and defenseman Ian Mitchell are projected to be healthy scratches, but interim head coach Joe Sacco could make a change since the pair had less than 24 hours to fly to Pittsburgh to be with the team.
Puck drop for the Bruins-Penguins matchup is scheduled at 3 p.m. ET on ABC.
